RETAIL ASSESsMENTS
Congratulations to the following branches on achieving a 5 Star rating on their recent Branch Retail Assessments. Retail Management is taking a targeted, governed process to transform our retail business, attract new and previously unknown customers, and increase retail sales. By excelling in retail management, we can capture a critical customer base that has historically been underserved. These four locations were our focus retail branches for 2022 and we are very appreciative of their hard work and commitment to achieving this rating.

technical training
On June 22 and 23, in Houston TX, Brian Glass (Hammond Service Technician) and Pete Flowers (Lake Charles Service Technician) attended Caterpillar training led by Russ Siegel, a DSN Project Engineer with Cat Global Dealer Solutions Network. The training was held at Pipeline Machinery International LP.
The training is aimed at Technical Communicators (TCs) and other Product Support personnel interested in the various aspects of repair diagnostics, reporting, and analysis. The guys received training on GDSN responsibilities, Incident Reporting, PSCRM Portal functions, Dealer PowerBi, Remote Flash, and explored various DSN scenarios.
Recognition of Heavy Equipment Operator Program Partners
We are proud to partner with Central Louisiana Technical Community College in Alexandria on the recent opening of their Heavy Equipment Operator Training Program. This program provides the Central Louisiana region with a quality training program supporting students and the increasing need of a skilled workforce. Louisiana Cat was recognized at a recent event on October 13th at CLTCC’s campus in Alexandria.

TECHNICIAN TRAINEE PROGRAM
The SkillUp26 program offers entry-level technicians an accelerated opportunity for professional growth and development of technical skills and knowledge through mentorship, instructor-led & computer-based learning, and on-the-job training.
The participants spend 26 weeks learning the fundamentals of being a technician at Louisiana Cat while being mentored and evaluated by their more senior teammates and supervisors. Throughout the program, they also come together at our various locations for Instructor-Led Training Courses where they can learn a new skill, network with their fellow trainees, and visit other shops and divisions.

ISR "CHRISTMAS IN JULY" CONTEST
