CONEXPO-CON/AGG is the international gathering place every three years for the construction industries, focusing on construction, aggregates, and ready-mixed concrete. For Caterpillar, ConExpo is more than a large industry trade show in North America. In 2023, it was a relaunch and homecoming for the industry. This year’s show welcomed more than 130,000 attendees. ConExpo serves as an opportunity to build relationships with our customers of all sizes, both through what Caterpillar showcased at their 70,000 sq. ft. exhibit and what they highlighted online through virtual engagement opportunities. ConExpo provided us the opportunity to showcase all the choices Caterpillar brings to the table allowing our customers to select the solutions they need to achieve success – from machines and technologies to repair strategies and how they elect to purchase parts.
In 2022, Caterpillar announced the implementation of asset QR codes. Throughout 2023 you will begin to see these codes reflected on all new equipment coming from the factories. These QR codes will improve the customer’s experience by making it easier than ever for them to access equipment-specific information. Scanning the code provides customers with instant access to parts and maintenance instructions needed for a specific piece of equipment.
