Effective immediately, it is the policy of Louisiana Machinery Company
that all employees wear a cloth face covering:
This policy shall remain in effect until official notification is given.
The threat of COVID-19 has been reduced but it has not gone away. New cases of the virus are reported daily and our understanding of COVID-19 and how it spreads continues to grow. We remain fully dedicated to the safety, health and well-being of the Louisiana Cat Team. But our efforts to keep you safe requires everyone’s diligence and commitment. The intent of this message is to remind the employees of LMC of a few important points to prevent the spread.
Don’t come to work sick
Continue to practice social distancing in the workplace
Don’t gossip
Don’t let down your guard
As we move through the phases of reopening the state, employees may still encounter travel restrictions. Louisiana Cat is a critical supplier to several sectors of critical infrastructure designated by the Department of Homeland Security. As a “critical infrastructure industry employee,” you should be considered exempt from local restrictions such as curfews, shelter-in-place orders and other mobility restrictions when reporting to, returning from, or performing work functions. Download and print the transit letter below. You should keep it with you at all times while traveling.
The New Iberia team prepared for Tropical Storm Cristobal by cleaning up the yard, battening down loose material and moving engines from the yard into the shop.
A BIG Thank You to the Shop Crew: Tim Dubroc, Gerald Domingue, Danny Baber, Jason Armelin, Jeff Olivier, Roland Frederick, Randy Green, Chris Owens, Roscoe Wilkins, and Grant Gautreaux. The team was quick to prep the facility in a short amount of time.
An update from Quality Manager, Jarrod Suire:
Bad weather couldn’t stop progress with the Dyno building. Electrical transformers were set in place and the main electrical lines were pulled from the high voltage pole. EP Breaux is completing the final tie-in to the electrical box and pulling wire in the building. The base for the awning posts and retaining wall were also completed.

CIAP takes a Comprehensive Blended Learning approach. The participants must complete e-learning modules prior to attending the 5-day workshop such as this. During the workshop each participant is assessed and receives individualized mentoring focusing on the completion of a comprehensive project. Successfully completing the CIAP program is a pre-requisite for becoming an active Certified Dealer

Delivering an Exceptional Customer Experience is critical in fulfilling our Vision of market leadership by providing superior value. Each month we will have a Customer Experience (CX) share, highlighting a department or branch that is delivering Exceptional Experiences. This month’s spotlight is on the Rental Department.
Since rolling out GREAT + to Louisiana Cat team members, Customer Experience Manager, Steven Crescioni has continued to work and train new, on-boarding team members as well as veteran team members to ensure everyone is aware of the importance of exceptional customer experience. Louisiana Cat surveys over 150 customers every month and randomly reviews phone interactions to ensure both internal and external customers receive GREAT + service from Louisiana Cat.
Louisiana Cat’s Rental Department has been recognized as one of the best in the North America as it holds #7 spot in the country, and consistently within the top six rental departments among 44 dealerships. Over the past year, the rental department has completed a web base customer experience training, which helps identify ways to properly handle walk in, phone in traffic and adapt to customer needs. The chart below shows the trend in Net Loyalty, which results from high customer scores in Overall Satisfaction, willingness to recommended to others and purchase again. Congratulations to Mike Cain and his Rental team for their hard work and dedication to providing a GREAT + experience to Louisiana Cat customers.

"They have great communication skills and they keep in contact with me about absolutely anything having to do with my orders. If any problems arose and they couldn't find the parts, they let me know about it and whether they would be able to find them or if any options were available. Toni and Brian provide awesome customer service."
- Anthony Porche, Savage Services
"I use Mason every time I rent from Louisiana Cat. On this particular service, Mason was on the ball when I called, helping to get the trucking situated, getting right back to me in response to any questions I had. Mason checked in with me throughout the job and called to clarify when the machine was ready to be picked up."
-Nick Davies, Davies Construction Inc
"Jerry and Brad are both very personable, very helpful, and they make it a very easy buying experience. Louisiana Cat is one of the absolute best places around when it comes to customer service. They consistently exceed all of my expectations. I believe they are #1 in customer care, and they are always 'spot on' to help out. "
