We hosted 3 sessions of Component Reuse Training with Omaira Gonzalez from Caterpillar. This class is a critical tool that enhances the knowledge and skill of our technicians when determining parts reusability. In this 2-day class, students learn to identify worn parts through a process of inspection and metrology as well as how to properly handle reusable parts. Technical trainings like this provide our techs with the knowledge and skills needed to serve our customers.

Softball Tournament
Below you will find information regarding the 18th Annual Co-Ed Softball Tournament including tournament rules and roster forms. The tournament will consist of morning pool play and afternoon double-elimination tournament play. Please read thoroughly and return your team rosters to me by Wednesday, August 21. The age limit will be enforced, you MUST be 16 years or older to play. All team members must be a Louisiana Cat Employee or Employee’s immediate family member as outlined in the rules: parent, spouse, child, or sibling of active employee ONLY. This rule will be enforced!

If you wish to play softball and your branch is having a team, you must play with your home branch’s team.
If you wish to play softball and your home branch is not having a team, you must play with the closest branch, outlined below.

The 2024 host hotel will once again be Homewood Suites, 201 Kaliste Saloom Road, Lafayette, La 70508. You are responsible for booking your own room. Each employee will receive one complimentary night’s stay. You will have to hold the room with your credit card, but you will not be charged as long as you check in to the hotel. If you choose to stay two nights, you will be responsible for the second night’s payment. You will be responsible for any cancellation, “no show” fees.
