Dyno Facility construction
Dynamometer (Dyno) testing facility in New Iberia is beginning to take shape. With 43 pillars, up to 3’ wide and 45’ deep installed and concrete footing poured, the majority of the foundation is complete. The exterior walls are being installed and the water tank construction is under way. The Dyno facility will consist of two test bays with a maximum testing range up to Cat® 3616 engines with 8,000 HP. An additional portable dyno unit will be able to test engines with 1,200 HP and below
Corporate king cake Competition
In honor of the Mardi Gras Holiday, Louisiana Cat's Corporate Headquarters hosted a king cake party. Employees taste-tested 17 king cakes from around the region and voted on their favorite.

A Message from the IT Department
As you may know, Microsoft is no longer supporting Windows 7 operating systems. If your current computer is running Windows 7 please open a ticket in our ticketing system using the W7 Update Form (support.louisianacat.com). It is critical that you open a ticket so we can schedule an upgrade to your machine, as your machine is vulnerable to an attack that could potentially affect Louisiana Cat’s network as a whole. See the pictures above to determine if your computer is running Windows 7.
We want to minimize everyone’s downtime and help our department work efficiently. We can prep your new computer and let you know when you can send in your old computer for us to transfer your data over. Once we have your old computer in our hands we can usually do a one-day turnaround. Your help with this project would be greatly appreciated.
Please do not just send in your computer without a ticket because we will be upgrading by appointment only to minimize downtime.
