A message from President, Sally Boyce Rinehart
Dear Friends and Family of Louisiana Machinery, It is with a heavy heart and great sadness that I share the passing of my beloved father and our dedicated leader, Clark George Boyce, Junior. He passed away peacefully at home yesterday morning, February 26 surrounded by loving friends and family. While he had been silently leading behind the scenes for some time please know the company’s success and the wellbeing of each of you were always in his thoughts.
During his 48 years with Louisiana Machinery, he was well known and highly respected across Louisiana as a successful business leader who contributed significantly to the prosperity of the construction and energy industries as well as the communities throughout the State. He was a giant of a man whose gregarious personality filled all of his six foot eight frame. We take comfort in the incredible life he lived, his accomplishments and know that he will always be remembered for his kind spirit and tenacity.
Our family appreciates your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
An update from Quality Manager, Jarrod Suire:
The final details of Dyno project are coming together. The control room is almost finished and the major components are in place. The engineers are working to determine exhaust piping placement and we’re raising the existing lights to provide more room.
Congratulations to Eric Patureau, Marine Sales Manager and Thomas Broussard, Marine Project Manager on reaching more than 2,500 points in 2020 on the Cat® Marine Capability Hub! The Cat Marine Capability Hub is an innovative digital platform that helps equip dealer and Caterpillar sales teams with everything they need to successfully sell Cat Marine packages. With customer-centric information on Cat's entire range of products, covering all regions and all market segments.
With the incredible popularity of Cat® Trial 9: PAC-MAN™, Cat wanted to keep the ball rolling. This time, they're celebrating some of the unsung heroes of our industry: the service technician. Technicians are vital to ensuring our customers’ machines and engines fulfill the promise that Cat dealers make every single day. Inspired by some of your favorite sport/reality TV shows, Cat Trial 10: TECH TEST is a fun and exciting way for technicians to demonstrate their knowledge and skill.
Ryan Boyce, Technician in Prairieville, was among 1 of 18 technicians across the country selected to be featured in Trial 10. The trial video was filmed at the end of January at Edwards Demonstration and Learning Center in Peoria, IL! Thanks to Ryan for representing Louisiana Cat!
"I like their prompt service and how clear they are with pricing. I appreciate
the entire Lafayette Rents team but really give credit to Derrick for
absolutely taking care of our needs. Derrick always keeps me informed
every step of the way."

"Their service is awesome and they have the most polite people. Conrad is the best. If I need anything, he bends over backwards to help and get everything right. Keep doing what you're doing, you're doing a great job and Louisiana Rents will always have my business."
- Matthew Waldrep, Matthew Waldrep Trucking LLC
"The driver, Chris did a good, careful job in a very tight circumstance, while delivering a lift. I appreciate his professionalism and his attitude. ."

The Machine Branch Excellence program has been revamped for 2021! It's purpose is to drive friendly competition amongst our Product Support teams, allowing quick gains and continuous improvements by and for all teams and which ultimately reward our team members and customers. The excellence rankings are based on 8 key areas: Safety Quiz Completion, Rolling 6-month NLS, Jobs Closed vs Weekly Targets, Accounts Receivables over 90 days, PIP Completion, SIMS Accuracy per total segments, Parts Returns and Warranty Debits. Congratulations to Bossier on placing first in February!
